Job Description / Responsibility
- Candidates having GCC/Overseas Experience will get preference.
- Team Leadership: Manage and distribute daily tasks to a team of duct men and helpers, providing guidance on duct installation, fabrication, and resolving technical issues on-site.
- Duct Installation & Quality Compliance: Supervise the installation, assembly, and alignment of HVAC ductwork, ensuring all work complies with project specifications, SMACNA standards, and client quality requirements.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret HVAC layout drawings, duct shop drawings, and technical schematics to guide the team in the accurate installation and routing of duct systems.
- Material Management: Monitor the availability and proper use of duct sections, fittings, insulation materials, hangers, supports, and installation tools, and request replenishments when required.
- Safety Enforcement: Ensure all team members wear appropriate PPE and strictly follow health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures, especially when working at heights or using lifting equipment.
- Coordination & Troubleshooting: Coordinate with HVAC engineers, supervisors, and other trades to resolve installation conflicts, ensure proper duct routing, and maintain project schedules.
- Inspection & Testing Support: Inspect completed duct installations for alignment, airtightness, and proper support, and assist with testing, balancing, and commissioning activities before project handover.
Educational Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering
- Skills Required: HVAC, HVAC Design and Estimation, HVAC Syetem, Troubleshooting of HVAC
Experience Requirements
- 5 to 7 year(s)
