An established, Central Bankregulated financial services organisation in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead and evolve its people function.
This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing the full HR lifecycle, while also shaping and delivering a forward-looking HR strategy aligned with the organisation's growth, governance, and transformation agenda. The CHRO will partner closely with senior management and the Executive Committee, acting as a trusted advisor on all people-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end HR operations, including payroll, recruitment, talent management, learning & development, and HR administration, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and best practice.
- Design and execute a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with business objectives, expansion plans, and regulatory requirements.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing HR team capable of supporting a complex, regulated environment.
- Provide strategic HR counsel to senior leadership and the Executive Committee on organisational design, workforce planning, succession, and talent development.
- Support HR transformation initiatives, including process optimisation, systems enhancement, and capability building.
Candidate Profile
- Emirati with Khulasat Al Qaid
- 1015 years of HR leadership experience, ideally within financial services, banking, or other Central Bankregulated industries.
- Proven experience in scaling HR functions and/or leading HR transformation.
- Strong stakeholder management, people leadership, and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Comfortable operating at Executive Committee level in a regulated environment.
