Position: Cleaning Supervisor
Duration: 27th April to 9th May
Location: Jeddah
The Cleaning Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all cleaning and waste management operations during the event. This role ensures that all event areas remain clean, safe, and presentable at all times while leading a team of cleaning staff and maintaining health, safety, and sustainability standards.
Key Job Responsibilities
1. Supervision of Cleaning Operations
- Coordinate and oversee daily cleaning schedules across all event areas, including public spaces, back-of-house areas, staff zones, and high-traffic locations.
- Assign tasks to cleaning staff and monitor performance to ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met.
2. Waste Management
- Implement and supervise an efficient waste collection, segregation, and disposal plan throughout the event.
- Ensure recycling initiatives and sustainability practices are followed in line with event guidelines.
3. Team Leadership
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of cleaning and waste management staff.
- Conduct pre-event briefings and regular on-site check-ins to ensure smooth operations and address issues promptly.
4. Health & Safety Compliance
- Ensure all cleaning and waste management activities comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards and take corrective action immediately.
5. Inventory & Supplies Management
- Monitor usage of cleaning supplies, equipment, and waste disposal resources.
- Report shortages and request replenishments in a timely manner to avoid operational disruptions.
6. Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain daily records of cleaning activities, waste management, incidents, and challenges.
- Coordinate with the event management team to address feedback and implement improvements as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Cleaning Supervisor or similar role (event or hospitality industry preferred)
- Basic knowledge of sustainability and waste segregation practices
- Ability to work flexible hours, including long shifts during event days
