Job Description

Our client is a premium lifestyle quickcommerce platform entering the Saudi market. They are seeking a Commercial Director to own the commercial strategy and lead the endtoend commercial performance across all categories in KSA.

This role is responsible for maximizing revenue, margin, supplier value, and category growth while shaping the product assortment and building strong supplier partnerships. It requires a commanding commercial leader with deep supplier negotiation experience and the ability to drive highimpact commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive commercial performance, P&L, revenue, and margin KPIs
  • Build category strategies across grocery, beauty, home, gifting, and curated premium lines
  • Lead supplier acquisition, negotiations, and trading terms to secure toptier discounts, promos, and rebates
  • Develop pricing architecture, promo calendars, and marginprotection strategies
  • Oversee forecasting, demand planning, and replenishment alignment
  • Partner with Marketing on 360° brand activation and comarketing budgets
  • Lead new category launches, exclusive lines, gifting concepts, and privatelabel initiatives
  • Manage and mentor the commercial team across category management, buying, planning, and analytics
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Tech
  • Build strong commercial governance, vendor scorecards, and negotiation playbooks

Requirements

  • Experience in FMCG, retail, ecommerce, or quickcommerce commercial leadership
  • Proven ability to secure aggressive supplier terms, rebates, exclusives, and promo funding
  • Strong commercial instincts with exceptional negotiation and influencing capability
  • Deep experience in pricing, promotions, category profitability, and inventory implications
  • Strong analytical, datadriven commercial decisionmaking
  • Leadership experience managing crossfunctional commercial teams
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Commerce, or related field
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage
