Summary-
As a Commis I specializing in Italian Cuisine, you will work in a kitchen setting, assisting with food preparation, cooking, and ensuring food quality meets the restaurant's standards. You will be responsible for a range of tasks to support the kitchen team in delivering high-quality Italian dishes.
Job Responsibility-
- Assist with the preparation of ingredients and cooking of dishes following Italian recipes.
- Ensure all food items are prepared and stored according to food safety standards.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to meet the restaurant's standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth food service during busy hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries of food items.
Candidate Requirements-
- Proven experience working in a kitchen environment, preferably in Italian cuisine.
- Knowledge of Italian cooking techniques and recipes.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from chefs.
- Strong attention to detail and passion for delivering high-quality dishes.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
- Certification from a culinary school or relevant training programs is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning and growth in the culinary field.
