Job Summary
You will act as theofficially registered Compliance Officer, owning regulatory compliance, AML/CTF, and serving as the primary point of contact with regulators.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, update, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in line with evolving regulations
- Design and implement theCompliance Monitoring Plan (CMP)and oversee ongoing monitoring and annual reviews
- Identify, document, and resolve compliance issues, breaches, and client complaints
- Oversee AML/CTF frameworks includingKYC, CDD, and EDD
- Ensure timely filing of regulatory and AML reports
- Conduct compliance risk assessments across digital asset and payment activities
- Liaise with regulators and support audits and inspections
- Provide compliance guidance to management, staff, and client-facing teams
- Deliver AML/CTF training and awareness programs internally
- Advise the Board and senior management on regulatory risks and strategic implications
Requirements & Qualifications
- 45+ yearsof compliance experience inDigital Assets, Crypto, Payments, or Financial Services
- Strong understanding ofAML/CTF regulationsand regulatory expectations
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business, or related field
- Professional certifications such asACAMS, CRCM(preferred)
- Prior engagement with regulators;VARA experience is a strong advantage
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills
