Job Description

Content & Communication Manager

Job Responsibilities

  1. Formulate the overall marketing communication strategy, annual and quarterly implementation plans for the Middle East and Africa region, clarify the communication direction, core themes and implementation paths based on regional market characteristics, user needs and business objectives, and ensure that the communication work is aligned with the company's business strategy.
  2. Be fully responsible for the strategic planning and operation management of the regional official social media matrix (including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.), formulate account operation standards, control content quality and release rhythm, and improve account influence, fan activity and conversion effect.
  3. Lead the construction of the regional creative content system, coordinate the planning, production and review of content, including brand promotion, product promotion, event materials, etc., ensure that the content is in line with the cultural customs of the Middle East and Africa, and accurately convey BYD's brand concept and product advantages.
  4. Oversee the communication planning and implementation of important regional marketing activities (auto shows, product launches, industry summits, etc.), be responsible for the review and optimization of speeches, press releases and other materials, and coordinate media and KOL resources to expand the influence of activities and brand voice.
  5. Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with local media, KOLs and industry partners in the Middle East and Africa region, formulate media cooperation strategies, improve brand media exposure and reputation, and handle brand communication related matters in the region.
  6. Be responsible for the monitoring and review of marketing communication data, establish a sound data analysis system, regularly optimize communication strategies and implementation plans, and improve communication efficiency and input-output ratio.
  7. Lead the marketing communication team, be responsible for the recruitment, training, assessment and management of team members, build an efficient and collaborative team atmosphere, and promote the team to achieve various communication goals.
  8. Follow up industry trends and competitors communication strategies, adjust regional communication plans in a timely manner, and provide communication support for the sales team to complete business expansion.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree or above, major in Marketing, Journalism & Communication, Advertising, Arabic, English or related fields; MBA is preferred, with a solid theoretical foundation in brand communication and marketing.
  2. 5+ years of relevant work experience in marketing communication and brand management, including 2+ years of team management experience; work experience in transnational regions (especially the Middle East and Africa region) in the automotive, new energy, and FMCG industries is preferred.
  3. Native or proficient in Arabic, with excellent Arabic reading, writing, communication and material review capabilities; fluent in English, which can be used as a working language, and able to independently communicate with international teams and overseas partners.
  4. In-depth understanding of the cultural customs, user preferences and social media ecology of the Middle East and Africa region, familiar with the rules of local mainstream social media platforms, with rich experience in formulating and implementing regional communication strategies; successful cases of brand communication and social media operation are preferred.
  5. Excellent strategic thinking, planning ability and execution ability, able to independently coordinate regional communication work, good at creative content planning and material review; proficiency in office software and basic design, video editing tools is preferred.
  6. Strong team management ability, communication and coordination ability, negotiation ability and problem-solving ability; proactive at work, strong sense of responsibility, able to work under pressure, and recognize BYD's brand philosophy.
