Role Description
This is a full-time Contract Administrator role based on-site in Cairo, Egypt. The Contract Administrator will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and coordinating all aspects of contract management and administration. Daily tasks include reviewing and negotiating contract terms, managing procurement processes, ensuring compliance with contractual and legal requirements, analyzing contracts for risks, and maintaining detailed records. The role is focused on collaborating with teams to support project goals and ensuring all contractual obligations are met efficiently.
Accountabilities
1. Issue Contract Conditions brief for the project stakeholders.
2. Issue and update the risk management plan on quarterly basis and ensure that the plan is applied as scheduled.
3. Follow up with the Project team to make sure that the contracts obligations and entitlements are met.
4. Send a notice for claim to the client may be needed under the contract and within the time frame stipulated in contract.
5. Issue claim letters to clients based on contract conditions, when needed.
6. Negotiate the claims with the client to reach a win-win situation and maintain company's rights.
7. Ensure that all assigned projects are closed on time as per contract terms and conditions.
8. Respond to client requests, inquiries, and incidents in a timely manner.
9. Review subcontractor's evaluation forms to avoid any negative impact on the project progress, and issue required notice of correction or termination.
10. Assist the finance department in issuing the insurance policies for the project as per contract requirement and follow up their validity.
11. Ensure that the approvals of the variation orders are aligned with contractual durations and as minimum as possible.
12. Comply with the company management system according to ISO standards ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 & ISO 14001:2015.
13. Support in handling other assignments within the scope of the department if required to facilitate achieving the departmental goals.
Job Requirement
Education: Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or Law.
Experience: 2 5 Years of experience
Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point).
Language: Excellent Command of Arabic & English language skills.
