BEC Arabia is hiring (Contracts Administration Engineer)
With 23 years of experience in construction manages the full contract lifecycle, including reviewing contract conditions, drafting, negotiating, and executing, ensuring compliance with specifications. Key tasks include managing subcontractor agreements, preparing variation orders, handling claims for delays (EOT), and assisting in project close-out.
Key Responsibilities:
Contractual Administration: Review, analyze, and manage contract conditions (e.g., FIDIC), ensuring compliance and tracking milestones/deliverables.
Variation & Claim Management: Prepare and negotiate variation orders, claims for extension of time (EOT), and delay/disruption claims.
Subcontractor Management: Handle the subcontractor lifecycle from tender to award, ensuring compliance and managing payments.
Correspondence & Documentation: Maintain official correspondence, maintain logs for, issues/risks, and manage subcontractor, insurance, and warranty documents.
Reporting: Prepare monthly reports on progress, variation orders, and claims for management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
Experience: 23 years in a similar role in construction, or relevant experience in project coordination.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of contract forms (FIDIC, etc.), Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and project scheduling basics.
Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
