Job Purpose:

The Risk Corporate Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of the day-to-day Risk Management activities within RSG to cover the Enterprise and Corporate risks facing the Company, as well as implementing initiatives that increase the RM maturity of the Company.

The Risk Manager has also reporting responsibilities for preparing the reports for the Audit committee and Board of Director meetings periodically throughout the year. (Ad hoc reporting may also be required).

Job Responsibilities:

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in the execution of initiatives and plans for the achievement of defined departmental goals.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of enterprise risk management (ERM) frameworks, policies, and procedures in line with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee and manage day-to-day risk management operations, ensuring effective implementation of approved policies, frameworks, and controls, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare, review, and present comprehensive risk reports, dashboards, and analyses for Senior Management, Audit Committee, and Board of Directors, including risk resolutions and strategic risk insights as required.
  • Act as a key liaison with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication, alignment, and a shared understanding of risk exposures, mitigation strategies, and risk ownership.
  • Design, deliver, and oversee risk awareness and training programs to embed a strong risk culture across the organization, including targeted sessions for risk champions, management, and employees.
  • Monitor emerging risks, regulatory developments, and industry best practices, and advise Management on potential impacts and strategic responses.

Functional Responsibilities:

ERM Framework

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of the Corporate and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework across the Group and its subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with governance standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Recommend corporate and enterprise risk appetite, key risk thresholds, and tolerance levels to the Risk Director for review and approval by Management, Audit Committee, and Board of Directors.
  • Identify, assess, and consolidate material corporate and enterprise risks at Group and subsidiary levels, ensuring timely escalation to Management and the Associate Corporate Risk Director.
  • Facilitate corporate and enterprise-wide risk assessments and workshops, working closely with risk owners and risk champions to develop, implement, and monitor effective risk treatment plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of corporate and enterprise risk management initiatives, controls, and mitigation actions, and report on risk trends, emerging risks, and key exposures.
  • Prepare and present corporate and enterprise risk reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for Management, Audit Committee, and Board-level discussions.
  • Engage with corporate functions and subsidiaries to ensure clear risk ownership, effective risk transfer across the value chain, and consistent application of corporate and enterprise ERM practices.
  • Support the embedding of a strong corporate and enterprise risk culture through continuous stakeholder engagement, awareness initiatives, and collaboration with risk champions.

Risk Identification, Prioritization and Treatment

  • Review, oversee, and challenge corporate and enterprise risks across RSG and its subsidiaries, ensuring all material risks are consistently identified, consolidated, and escalated in line with RSG's governance framework.
  • Engage with Corporate Functions, Business Units, and Management in structured discussions regarding risk events, emerging threats, potential losses, control weaknesses, and missed strategic opportunities that could impact RSG's objectives.
  • Maintain and report corporate and enterprise loss events through the internal loss database on a quarterly basis, supporting trend analysis, root cause assessment, and executive-level reporting.
  • Escalate key corporate and enterprise risks to the Associate Corporate Risk Director in accordance with risk assessment outcomes, approved risk appetite, and escalation thresholds.
  • Facilitate the development and alignment of enterprise-level risk treatment and mitigation plans with risk owners and risk champions, ensuring accountability and effective execution across RSG.
  • Review, challenge, and enhance corporate and enterprise risk treatment plans, recommending improvement initiatives and optimization actions to strengthen controls and ensure efficient use of RSG resources.

Monitoring and Reporting

  • Monitor the application and effectiveness of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework across the Group and its subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with approved policies, procedures, and risk appetite.
  • Prepare clear risk dashboards and reports, monitor compliance with ERM processes and procedures across the Group, and report on their overall effectiveness to Management.
  • Monitor the timeliness and effectiveness of consolidated risk treatment plans and risk strategy, challenging progress and alignment with Group priorities and risk appetite.
  • Review and challenge the quality of risk mitigation actions across subsidiaries and key initiatives, ensuring they are practical, proportionate, and strategically aligned.
  • Coordinate with Internal Audit and assurance functions to ensure periodic reviews of material Group and subsidiary risks are performed and key findings are escalated and addressed.
  • Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and emerging risk trends at Group level, ensuring timely escalation of significant issues through established governance channels.
  • Support Audit Committee and Board reporting, translating complex risk information into concise, decision-focused insights.
  • Contribute to Group-level and shareholder risk reporting, ensuring consistency, completeness, and alignment with governance and regulatory expectations.

Training and Communication

  • Assess and identify risk training and awareness needs across the Group and its subsidiaries.
  • Plan, develop, and deliver risk awareness sessions for Risk Champions and key stakeholders, ensuring consistent understanding of Enterprise Risk Management practices.
  • Recommend risk awareness communications and messages (e.g. emails, guidance notes, internal materials) to senior risk leadership for rollout across the business.
  • Encourage knowledge sharing and adoption of risk management best practices across teams and functions to support a strong and consistent risk culture.
