We are partnering with a prestigious international furniture brand to appoint an experienced Sales Director / Head of Sales to lead revenue growth across B2C and B2B project channels.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role combining strategic sales management, key account ownership, and team development, within a premium design-led environment.
Sales, Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Drive sales growth across B2C and B2B channels, including:
- Hotels & hospitality developments
- Residential projects (villas, apartments)
- FF&E and turnkey furnishing projects
- Serviced and self-catering apartments
- Corporate and staff accommodation
- Personally manage and close key strategic and high-value accounts from enquiry to final delivery.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and active market engagement.
- Prepare and present tailored commercial proposals, quotations, and presentations aligned with client requirements and margin targets.
- Lead negotiations on pricing, scope, and contractual terms to successfully close deals while protecting profitability.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Sales Consultants to exceed individual and collective targets.
- Set clear KPIs, revenue goals, and activity benchmarks aligned with business objectives.
- Maintain close involvement in the team's sales pipeline, supporting deal strategy, pricing, and closures.
- Attend key client meetings with the team and support complex negotiations.
- Conduct regular pipeline reviews, forecasting meetings, and performance check-ins.
- Ensure consistent application of sales processes, approvals, and brand standards.
- Identify training and development needs and support continuous improvement.
Client & Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with:
- Developers and hotel operators
- Airlines and corporate housing providers
- Interior designers, architects, and consultants
- High-net-worth private clients
- Act as the senior escalation point for complex commercial discussions or client issues.
- Ensure a premium, end-to-end client experience across all personally managed and team-led projects.
Project Sales Oversight
- Oversee sales-led projects from order confirmation through delivery and final handover.
- Work closely with internal teams (design, logistics, operations, finance) to ensure seamless execution.
- Monitor timelines, budgets, specifications, and variations to minimise risk and maximise upsell opportunities.
- Ensure accurate and complete handover of project details from sales to delivery teams.
Market Awareness & Brand Representation
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities across furnishings, FF&E, and hospitality.
- Represent the brand at client meetings, industry events, and networking functions.
- Uphold and reinforce the company's positioning as a premium, trusted partner.
Reporting & Governance
- Maintain accurate personal and team sales pipelines and forecasts.
- Provide regular performance and revenue reports to senior leadership.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, pricing structures, and contractual processes.
About You
- Proven experience in home furnishings, interiors, or design-led environments.
- Strong background covering both B2B project sales and B2C retail.
- Demonstrated success closing high-value deals while leading and developing sales teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with clear understanding of margins and project profitability.
- Confident, hands-on leader with excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Highly organised with strong project and time management capabilities.
- Client-centric, commercially driven, and results-focused.
- Fluent in English; strong Microsoft Office skills.
