Location: Abu Rawash Industrial Zone
Working Hours: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (Saturday to Thursday)
Experience Required: 23 years
Education: Bachelors degree in accounting
About the Role:
AGS is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical
Cost Accountant to join its team. The candidate will be responsible for planning, analyzing, and controlling costs to ensure accurate financial reporting and support management in decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze cost data to determine product and service costs.
- Prepare cost reports and analyze variances against budgets.
- Monitor production costs, inventory, and operating expenses.
- Contribute to the preparation and periodic update of standard costs.
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and operations teams to track and control expenses.
- Assist in preparing management reports to support strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting.
- 23 years of proven experience as a Cost Accountant.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
