- We are seeking a Cost Control Engineer with experience in construction and real estate projects. Responsible for BOQs, cost tracking, cash flow, and project forecasting, coordinating with PMs, procurement, and site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.Willingness to relocate to New Damietta.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and monitor project budgets and cost breakdown structures (CBS).
- Track actual project costs versus planned budgets and identify variances.
- Prepare periodic cost reports (weekly / monthly) and cash flow reports.
- Analyze cost deviations and propose corrective actions to project management.
- Coordinate with planning, procurement, contracts, and site teams to collect cost data.
- Review subcontractors invoices, variations, and claims from a cost perspective.
- Monitor commitments, expenditures, and remaining project budgets.
- Support the preparation of project forecasts and cost-to-complete reports.
- Assist in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure cost control procedures comply with company policies and project requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant engineering discipline.
- 5-7 Years of experience
- Proven experience as a Cost Control Engineer in construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and cost control software (Primavera / ERP systems is a plus).
- Good understanding of contracts, BOQs, and variation orders.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines.
- Experience in residential, commercial projects
- Coordination experience with planning and commercial departments.
- Willingness to relocate to New Damietta.
