Ontime Healthcare is seeking a skilled Cost Estimator with experience in the Fitout Industry and strong knowledge of the UAE market. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating project costs and ensuring that estimates align with budgetary constraints and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for fitout projects based on project plans and specifications
- Conduct thorough analysis of materials, labor, and subcontractor costs within the UAE market
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to understand project requirements and constraints
- Monitor market trends and update cost databases accordingly
- Support tendering and bidding processes by providing cost estimates and documentation
- Track and report on cost variances throughout project lifecycle
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations to management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience as a Cost Estimator in the fitout industry within the UAE
- Strong knowledge of local construction materials, labor costs, and regulations
- Proficient in estimating software and advanced MS Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
