Job Description

Managed XDR | Technical Pre-Sales | Middle East and Africa

LMNTRIX is looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Sales Engineer based in the UAE to support our growth across the Middle East and Africa.

You will work alongside regional sales leaders, channel partners, solution architects and security specialists to understand customer requirements, design effective solutions, deliver compelling demonstrations and secure the technical win throughout the sales process.

About LMNTRIX

LMNTRIX is a globally recognised Managed Extended Detection and Response provider.

Our Active Defense approach helps organisations detect, investigate, contain and remediate threats that bypass their existing security controls. LMNTRIX can sit above and alongside existing technology investments, improving visibility, validation and response without requiring customers to replace their entire security stack.

Our unified MXDR platform spans 13 security domains, including endpoint, network, cloud, identity, next-generation SIEM, mobile, OT and IoT, deception, threat intelligence, dark web monitoring, full-packet forensics, UEBA and automated attack validation.

LMNTRIX has been:

  • Positioned as a Leader in the IDC MarketScape for Worldwide Emerging Managed Detection and Response Services
  • Included as a representative vendor in Gartner's Market Guide for Managed Detection and Response Services
  • Ranked among the world's Top 25 MSSPs by MSSP Alert
The opportunity

The Sales Engineer is the technical backbone of the LMNTRIX new-business sales process.

You will help customers and partners understand how LMNTRIX can strengthen detection coverage, improve security operations and accelerate investigation, containment and remediation.

This role is based in the UAE and supports opportunities across the wider MEA region. Regional travel will be required for customer meetings, partner engagements and industry events.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead technical discovery sessions with prospective customers and partners
  • Understand customer security objectives, architecture, risks and existing technology investments
  • Deliver technical presentations, platform demonstrations and executive briefings
  • Design MXDR solutions aligned with customer requirements, infrastructure and regulatory obligations
  • Lead proof-of-value and technical evaluation engagements from planning through completion
  • Define success criteria and demonstrate measurable technical and operational value
  • Respond to technical objections and competitive questions
  • Document customer environments, including endpoints, networks, identity, cloud services, security controls and log sources
  • Develop high-level solution architectures, deployment approaches and technical proposal content
  • Support RFI, RFP and security questionnaire responses
  • Demonstrate LMNTRIX differentiation across EDR, NDR, SIEM, identity, cloud, threat intelligence, deception and automated response
  • Work closely with sales executives to progress qualified opportunities and secure technical approval
  • Enable distributors, resellers and MSP technical teams to position, demonstrate and support LMNTRIX
  • Deliver partner training, workshops, webinars and technical enablement sessions
  • Support conferences, roundtables and regional marketing activities
  • Provide a structured technical handover to implementation and Cyber Defence Centre teams after a successful sale
  • Participate in selected customer reviews where technical or architectural expertise is required
  • Share customer, partner and competitive feedback with product, engineering and security leadership
  • Create reusable demonstrations, presentations and technical content for the region
  • Mentor future regional Sales Engineers and partner technical resources
What we are looking for

You are a commercially aware cybersecurity professional who can translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value.

You can communicate credibly with security analysts, architects, infrastructure teams, CISOs and executive decision-makers. You listen carefully, identify the real customer problem and design a practical solution rather than simply demonstrating product features.

You will ideally bring:

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise security architecture and security operations
  • Experience with EDR, XDR, NDR, SIEM, SOAR, CSPM, CNAPP, identity security or threat intelligence
  • Practical understanding of incident detection, investigation, containment and remediation
  • Experience delivering customer demonstrations and proof-of-value engagements
  • Ability to design solutions that integrate with existing customer environments
  • Knowledge of Windows, Linux, networking, identity, cloud platforms and security logging
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform
  • Understanding of APIs, integrations, log collection and data-ingestion methods
  • Knowledge of containers, Kubernetes and cloud-native deployment models
  • Strong presentation, documentation and objection-handling skills
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to connect technical capability with customer risk and business outcomes
  • Experience supporting opportunities through distributors, resellers, system integrators or MSPs
  • Confidence speaking at customer events, webinars, conferences and partner sessions
  • Ability to manage several technical opportunities and evaluation projects at the same time
Key competencies
  • Customer-focused communication
  • Technical credibility
  • Problem solving
  • Commercial judgement
  • Ownership and accountability
  • Collaboration
  • Drive for results
Minimum qualifications and experience
  • At least four years of experience in cybersecurity pre-sales, solutions engineering, security consulting or a customer-facing technical role
  • At least two years of experience working with channel partners, distributors, resellers, MSSPs or system integrators
  • Demonstrated experience designing, supporting or deploying enterprise security solutions
  • Experience conducting technical discovery, demonstrations and proof-of-value engagements
  • Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, networks, endpoints, identity and cloud environments
  • Experience supporting complex cybersecurity sales processes from qualification through closure
  • Ability and willingness to travel across the UAE and selected MEA markets
Desirable experience
  • Experience supporting enterprise or government customers in the Middle East
  • Existing relationships within the UAE cybersecurity partner or enterprise community
  • Experience with MDR, MXDR, SOC services or security operations platforms
  • Demonstrated success contributing to technical win rates, sales targets or proof-of-value conversion
  • Familiarity with regional cybersecurity, privacy or regulatory requirements
  • Arabic language capability
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, AWS, Azure, networking or vendor-specific security certifications

Certifications are valuable, but practical experience, technical depth and customer-facing capability will carry greater weight.

Why join LMNTRIX
  • Represent a differentiated MXDR platform that complements customers existing security investments
  • Work directly with experienced solution architects, threat specialists, engineers and Cyber Defence Centre teams
  • Help shape LMNTRIX's technical go-to-market strategy across the UAE and wider MEA region
  • Gain exposure across endpoint, network, cloud, identity, SIEM, mobile, OT, deception, intelligence and automated security validation
  • Join an independent, founder-led cybersecurity company where decisions are made quickly and strong ideas are heard
Apply confidentially

Apply through LinkedIn with your CV and a brief summary covering:

  • Your cybersecurity pre-sales experience
  • The technologies and architectures you have worked with
  • Your experience delivering demonstrations or proof-of-value engagements
  • Your exposure to customers and channel partners across the UAE or MEA region
  • The types of enterprise opportunities you have helped win

We are looking for someone who can earn the confidence of a security architect, communicate value to a CISO and help our sales and partner teams turn complex customer requirements into successful security outcomes.
