Data Engineering - Lead Engineer

A rapidly-growing company that allows businesses to utilize their data efficiently to increase productivity and profitability, is looking for a Lead Data Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading engineering efforts toward building data systems and pipelines, as well as analyzing and organizing raw data. The company aims to empower its partners and help drive growth by focusing on essential services including- data systems integration, automation, and data insights. This position requires a 4-hour overlap with the CET time zone and is a great opportunity for engineers who're looking to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Job Responsibilities:

• Spearhead data curation efforts and ensure dataset quality
• Maintain libraries for data processing and management
• Provide oversight for the development and maintenance of data pipelines and databases
• Deploy AI algorithms into data platforms to run predictive analysis
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define product roadmap and achieve company goals

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 10+ years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer
• Prolific experience working with DevOps
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Great command of English communication
