You will be responsible for maintaining Microsoft SQL Server environments, ensuring high performance, availability, and security across all databases.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain MS SQL Server databases
- Monitor and optimize database performance (queries, indexes, execution plans)
- Manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes
- Implement High Availability solutions (Always On, Clustering, Replication)
- Manage database security (users, roles, permissions)
- Troubleshoot database issues and support application teams
- Perform patching, upgrades, and health checks
- Automate routine tasks using scripts
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with MS SQL Server (2016/2019/2022)
- Strong knowledge of T-SQL and performance tuning
- Experience with HA/DR solutions
- Good understanding of Windows Server and networking basics
- Familiarity with monitoring and backup tools
