Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Demi Chef based in New Cairo. The Demi Chef will assist in preparing and cooking dishes as per the restaurant's standards, ensuring consistency in flavor, presentation, and portions. Responsibilities include maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards, managing kitchen inventory, coordinating with the culinary team, and ensuring timely preparation of meals. The role also involves supporting senior chefs, adapting to innovative cooking methods, and contributing to menu planning and updates.

Qualifications
  • Proficient culinary skills in food preparation, cooking, and plating
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen sanitation practices
  • Experience in kitchen organization, inventory management, and stock rotation
  • Teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate with the kitchen staff
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality meals and maintaining consistency
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is an advantage
  • A culinary diploma or relevant certification is preferred
  • Flexibility and adaptability to a fast-paced work environment
