DevOps Engineer

The client is looking to hire a DevOps Engineer for their team at Riyadh.

Job Responsibilities :

710+ years total in platform engineering/SRE/DevOps, including 46+ years owning production CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and automation at scale.

Deep CI/CD design and operations: build/test/release pipelines in Jenkins, artifact management, environment promotion, and rollout strategies (blue/green, canary) using Jenkins/GitLab/GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps.

Infrastructure as Code expertise with Terraform and one cloud-native IaC (CloudFormation/ARM/Bicep); modular IaC patterns, state management, policy/guardrails, and drift detection.

Containers and orchestration: Docker image lifecycle, Kubernetes/Anthos administration, Helm, ingress, autoscaling, node pools, and cluster upgrades with zero/low downtime.

Observability and reliability: Prometheus/Grafana/CloudWatch/Appdynamics setup, SLO/SLA/SLA tracking, alerting design, on call participation, incident response, and post mortems.

Security and DevSecOps: secrets management, container scanning, signed artifacts, and compliance automation in pipelines.

Cloud proficiency in at least one major cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) including VPC/VNet design, IAM, networking, load balancing, storage, and cost optimization; hybrid/on prem integration.

Scripting and programming: strong Bash and one language such as Python/Go/PowerShell for automation, tooling, and platform services integration.

Configuration management: Ansible and/or equivalent for golden image builds, fleet configuration, and immutable/desired state patterns.

Reliability engineering practices: capacity planning, performance tuning, HA/DR architectures, backup/restore testing, and chaos/resilience validation.

Governance and controls: branching strategies, code review standards, environment access control, change management, and audit ready documentation/runbooks.

Education/certifications: Bachelor's in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent experience; relevant cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), and Terraform certifications are a plus.
