Digital Content Assistant Manager – Art Dubai, Dubai Collection
The Digital Content Assistant Manager supports Art Dubai and Dubai Collection by creating and managing digital content across all platforms.
This is a hands-on role requiring the ability to manage monthly content calendars, support creative briefs, coordinate stakeholder outreach, and ensure well-organised digital assets.
The role also requires the ability to create content across photography, video, graphic design, and written formats for fairs, events, and year-round programming, as well as support live content capture during key moments such as fair weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
Art Dubai
- Manage digital platforms and social media channels, including liaising with the Communications Manager and Marketing Manager.
- Manage photography and videography for the fair and its year-round programming.
- Produce and manage fair and year-round content and assets across video and photography.
- Track and report on digital performance across channels, including Art Dubai and its partners on social media.
- Develop and manage a monthly content calendar, including production of visual assets and copy.
- Support sponsor communications, including on-site content capture.
- Coordinate outreach and communication with galleries, exhibitors, and artists in relation to content.
- Manage live content capture during fair week.
- Support the development and execution of an integrated content strategy with the Communications Manager and Marketing Manager to create an omnichannel approach.
- Sustainably grow digital audience sizes and increase engagement volume as per agreed strategy.
- Oversee community engagement across social media by managing interactions, responding to comments and messages, and actively participating in conversations in a timely and thoughtful manner.
- Foster strong relationships with followers to build trust, encourage interaction, and grow a loyal, engaged audience.
Dubai Collection
- Manage digital channels and social media channels.
- Oversee website content and structure in collaboration with the Head of Collection Management.
- Coordinate with Marketing on website updates and campaigns.
- Manage photography and videography for year-round programming and events.
- Manage creative brief development for year-round content and assets.
- Produce and manage year-round content and assets across video, photography, and graphic design.
- Track and report on performance across all channels.
- Develop and manage a monthly content calendar, including production of visual assets and copy.
- Manage outreach to patrons and artists for content development.
- Manage live content capture during events.
- Assist with the development and execution of overall content strategy with the Communications Manager and Marketing Manager to create an omnichannel approach.
- Drive audience growth and engagement volume as per agreed strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in content production, social media coordination, and digital marketing, preferably within the creative industries, events, or cultural sectors.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and platform-specific best practices.
- Experience collaborating with external creative teams, including photographers, videographers, and content agencies.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills with a good eye for visual storytelling and design alignment.
- Proficiency in social media and analytics tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite, Later, Sprout, Google Analytics).
- Familiarity with supporting digital advertising campaigns across Meta, Google, and LinkedIn.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Creative, collaborative, and proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Basic video or image editing skills and comfort with adapting content formats for social platforms is an advantage.
