Job Description

Role Purpose

The Dim Sum Chef is responsible for maintaining the Dim Sum & Wok Kitchens, assist in the formation of the menu, and ensuring food & cleanliness standards are met

Key Responsibilities


  • Ensure Dim Sum and Wok Kitchens are managed efficiently and according to the established concept statements

  • Organize food production in a cost effective and hygienic manner, and ensure food standards are maintained & continuously improved.

  • Prepare menu in accordance with quality, availability and seasonality of ingredients and ensure market lists are completed on a daily & weekly basis. Assist in the menu formulation process in the Dim Sum & Wok Kitchen and in developing standards & procedures.

  • Responsible for the training and discipline of all Kitchen colleagues, with the Executive Chef. Identify opportunities for improving the efficiency of the operations and for reducing costs without affecting the level of service, in order to improve operating procedures.

  • Propose, and initiate when approved, new products for our guests.

  • Handle the Effort of superior Cleanliness across all Culinary Departments.

  • Qualifications Bachelor&rsquos degree in Business Administration

  • 0-2 years of experience

  • Proficiency in MS

  • Fluency in Englis
