Job Purpose:
The role is responsible for leading the organization's internal audit function, providing strategic oversight of the internal audit plan, agenda, policies, and procedures. This includes ensuring that all audit activities align with organizational goals and comply with applicable policies, regulations, and legislation within the Kingdom.
Key Functional Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and execution of annual internal audit plans covering all operational and financial activities, ensuring alignment with organizational strategic objectives.
- Ensure internal audit operations comply with relevant policies, regulations, and legislation within the Kingdom.
- Assess organizational risks and ensure operations adhere to regulatory standards, integrating effective risk management practices into the audit process.
- Advise senior management on matters related to internal controls, risk management, and governance, as needed.
- Lead the preparation of comprehensive internal audit reports outlining findings, risks, non‑conformities, and recommended corrective and preventive actions, and ensure timely communication of these results to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
- Recommend enhancements to internal audit methodologies and control systems to ensure effectiveness and alignment with current operational and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Certificate: CIA is a must.
