Eram Talent is seeking an experienced Drafting Trainer specializing in the Oil & Gas sector to join our team. The Drafting Trainer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs focused on drafting techniques, software applications, and industry standards specific to the oil and gas industry.
The role involves mentoring and upskilling drawing and drafting professionals to enhance their technical skills and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. This position requires strong expertise in drafting software and proven teaching abilities to effectively communicate complex concepts.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training programs on drafting software and techniques related to the Oil & Gas industry
- Provide hands-on training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills of participants
- Assess training needs and adapt programs accordingly to meet specific client and industry requirements
- Evaluate trainees progress and provide feedback and support for improvement
- Stay updated with the latest drafting technologies, software, and industry standards
- Prepare training materials, manuals, and documentation
- Collaborate with management and technical teams to ensure training aligns with project goals and regulatory compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field
- Proven experience in drafting within the Oil & Gas industry
- Strong proficiency in drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation, PDMS, SmartPlant)
- Experience in delivering training or teaching technical subjects to professionals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop clear and effective training materials
- Knowledge of Oil & Gas industry standards and safety regulations
- Strong organizational and presentation skills
- Ability to customize training to accommodate different skill levels and learning styles
