Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Draftsman located in Dubai. The Draftsman will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans based on specifications and calculations from engineers and architects. This includes preparing detailed drawings of architectural designs and plans for buildings and structures according to specifications provided. The role involves modifying and revising designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems. Additionally, the Draftsman will work closely with other team members and stakeholders to ensure designs are accurate and meet relevant standards and requirements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, and other drafting software
- Strong technical drawing and blueprint reading skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in drawing and design work
- Ability to follow instructions and work closely with engineers and architects
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of construction and engineering principles
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make technical corrections
- Experience in the construction industry is a plus
- Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
