Electrical Design Engineer

Job Purpose :

Complete initial and final product designs and coordinate with stakeholders regarding technical specs and manufacturing details maintaining product quality and cost.

Key Responsibilities :

• Read & analyze the technical requirements of the customer and prepare overall technical offer.

• Provide materials options in design utilizing inventory stocks and reducing costs maintaining the same quality.

• Layout of the Product during the tendering stage under supervision of direct manager.

• Interact directly with key clients to discuss product specification.

• Prepare the documentation of the Bill of Materials (BOM) to start production.

• Prepare the detailed shop drawings for product and coordinate with concerned parties to start production.

• Prepare the design of transformer control cabinet including its fans & control circuit with all protection and control requirement.

• Follow-up with the production team for all his running orders after starting production to maintain a good level of satisfactions

• Resolve any technical issues relevant to product design to facilitate production.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.

• 1-3 years of experience in electrical design.

• Knowledge of FEA (finite element analysis) on electrical and magnetic field stresses of components of the transformer is an advantage.

• Hands on experience with design software's.

• Good Command of English.

• Advanced MS office.
