Electrical Design Engineer (Remote)We are looking for anElectrical Design Engineerto workremotelyon residential projects, includingapartments, villas, and buildings, based onarchitectural drawingsand in full compliance with theEgyptian Electrical Code.
Responsibilities- Reviewarchitectural plansfor apartments, villas, and residential buildings
- Prepare completeelectrical design drawings, including:
- Lighting layouts
- Power & socket layouts
- Low-current layouts (if applicable)
- Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
- Load calculations and panel schedules
- Ensure all designs comply with theEgyptian Electrical Codeand local regulations
- Coordinate electrical layouts with architectural drawings
- Revise and update drawings based on comments and design changes
- PrepareBills of Quantities (BOQ), including:
- Lighting fixtures
- Switches and sockets
- Cables and conduits
- Distribution boards and protection devices
- Earthing and accessories
- Provide drawings and BOQs ready forexecution and contractor pricing
Requirements- Bachelor's degree inElectrical Engineering
- 15 yearsexperience in residential electrical design
- Strong knowledge of theEgyptian Electrical Code
- Excellent command ofAutoCAD(mandatory)
- Ability to accurately read architectural drawings
- Good time management and ability to work independently in a remote setup
Preferred (Nice to Have)- Experience with villas and residential compounds
- Knowledge of material specifications and take-off
- Basic understanding of other MEP disciplines
