ENGINEER

Key Accountabilities (External)
Responsible for ensuring safe working practices and procedures are implemented in accordance with the EKFC Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental policy.
Ensure all required materials and resources are arranged for timely execution of the project.
Knowledge of BMS (Building Management System), AC Chillers and Refrigeration Plant Room.
Accountable for ensuring that project teams have clear documented roles, responsibilities, expectations and accountabilities.
Set clear performance objectives that are clear, specific, challenging and achievable and provide regular and appropriate performance feedback to staff.
Responsible for the ongoing development of procedures, work practices towards Best Practice and Lean Manufacturing Excellence.
Resolving work related grievances within the project team.
Responsible for identifying Training Needs and execution of plans for the engineering teams.
Continual improvements and meet Key Result and Performance Criteria expectations in accordance with the departmental expectations derived from business plans.
Review of documents and as build drawings before taking handover of the projects.
Comply with the Company Quality and Occupational Health and Safety Policies.
Apply the Quality Policy and Quality System established in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 international standards and executes all responsibilities according to the department work procedures while reflecting EKFC Quality Policy.
Essential Requirements and Competencies
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical.
Minimum 5 years* experience in handling Projects.
Knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Systems.
Working knowledge on BMS, AC Chillers and Refrigeration Plant Room.
Ability to review technical drawings and interpret the details.
Should have experience in Project Designs, approvals from concerned authorities, execution and commissioning.
Hands on working knowledge in Auto cad and other advanced software*s.
Troubleshooting and knowledge of the above.
Ability to converse with Local authorities to full fill the project requirements if any.
Desirable Requirements and Competencies
Minimum experience of 7 years in handling the Air Condition and Refrigeration.
Knowledgeable and exposure in BMS, AC Chillers and Refrigeration Plant Room.
Act as a role model and provides effective behavioural examples in order to motivate team members to achieve high levels of performance.
High level of commitment to continuous improvement and adaptability to change.
