We're looking for someone to lead and manage an engineering team, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions, driving technical excellence, fostering a culture of innovation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical decisions with business objectives.
In this role, you'll be working on a platform and it's customization used across 200+ websites.
WHAT WE USE:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Be in charge of design&development of eCommerce platform and it's customization, including: technical decision making, reviewing code, ensuring best development practices. You'll also be leading and supporting other engineers as direct manager.
- Implement and maintain effective technical and operational processes;
- Align engineering goals with roadmaps and strategic objectives and ensure successful delivery within scope, time and budget;
- Manage and develop a team of engineers, overseeing engineering projects, and ensuring quality and efficiency in engineering processes;
- Have a hands-on role in mentoring engineers and helping them work through learning plans, technical and overall growth;
- Supervise cross-functional collaboration with product managers, content admins and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth delivery of technical solutions;
- Establish a clear vision and direction for the team and report on team performance and metrics.;
- Improve our tech stack, tools, and processes.
WHAT WE EXPECT:
- 5+ years experience in senior engineering role and proven track record in team leadership;
- Deep understanding of the tech stack, architecture, and coding best practices;
- High skills and expertise of PHP/MySQL, eCommerce CMS platforms, API integrations, PHP MVC frameworks, Laravel;
- Good understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools and ability to get the hang of new technologies and APIs very quickly;
- Strong communication skills to align expectations and translate business goals into technical solutions on eligible time and high quality;
- Proven experience in technical leadership, processes, and supportive team culture;
- Interest in and knowledge of new trends and technologies within the e-commerce field.
