Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise Architect with a proven track record and a minimum of 20 years of experience in the IT industry, including the last decade dedicated to Enterprise Architecture. The ideal candidate will be TOGAF certified or Aries, Abacus any EA tool, showcasing expertise in architecting and managing initiatives related to application development, hosting, and maintenance through a productization and platforms approach. The candidate must have substantial experience working with large clients, engaging in multi-year, multi-release projects, defining technology roadmaps, making critical architecture decisions, and supporting pre-sales activities.
Responsibilities:
- Enterprise Architecture Leadership:
- Provide strategic direction by defining and implementing enterprise architecture strategies aligned with business goals.
- Document current state architectures, develop future state architectures, and influence business/operations strategy.
- Pilot the introduction of new technologies and drive the design & engineering of key digital transformation projects.
- Project Governance:
- Govern enterprise architecture level initiatives to ensure progressive movement towards the defined target state.
- Evaluate technologies for cloud, mobile, analytics, and social media for solutioning and RFPs.
- Client Engagement:
- Work closely with large clients, maintaining multi-year, multi-release engagements.
- Define and communicate technology roadmaps, make architecture decisions, and support pre-sales activities.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage development teams responsible for creating architecture delivery tools, frameworks, and proof of concepts required for product development.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to the architecture team.
- Technology Evaluation:
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, with a focus on cloud, mobile, analytics, and social media, for solutioning and RFPs.
- EA Tools Expertise:
- Utilize Enterprise Architecture tools such as Abacus Essentials, LeanIX, and Sparx.
- Implement and manage Enterprise Architecture/CIO dashboards using these tools.
Qualifications:
- TOGAF certification is mandatory.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in the IT industry, with the last 10 years focused on Enterprise Architecture.
- Proven experience in architecting and managing initiatives for application development, hosting, and maintenance.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in client engagement, pre-sales support, and technology evaluation.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Abacus Essentials, LeanIX, and Sparx Enterprise Architecture tools.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Ability to influence and drive change in a dynamic environment.
