As the Manager of Enterprise Risk Management, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the company's assets, reputation, and shareholder value. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust enterprise risk management framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a risk-aware culture throughout the organization.
Roles and responsibilities
- Risk Assessment and Identification:
- Lead the identification, evaluation, and prioritization of enterprise-wide risks, including strategic, operational, financial, and compliance risks.
- Collaborate with department heads and business units to assess risks associated with specific activities and initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging risks that could impact the organization.
Risk Mitigation and Strategy:
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans to address identified risks.
- Work closely with senior management to align risk management efforts with the company's strategic objectives.
- Monitor the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures and adjust strategies as needed.
Policy and Framework Development:
- Establish and maintain an effective enterprise risk management framework, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to risk management and reporting.
- Educate employees and stakeholders on risk management principles and best practices.
Risk Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare and present regular risk reports to senior management and the board of directors.
- Facilitate open communication channels for reporting and discussing risk-related concerns and issues.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure alignment in risk assessment and reporting.
Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to risk management.
- Stay informed about changes in regulations and assess their impact on the company's risk profile.
- Continuous Improvement
- Motivate one's own team and identify opportunities to take part in change initiatives, programs and projects that reflect international best practice and changes in the competitive environment.
Policies, Processes & Procedures
- Recommend improvements to company policy and directs the implementation of procedures and controls so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers.

Qualification, Experience and skills
- Bachelor's degree in risk management, Finance, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Strong knowledge of risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance related to risk management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence stakeholders.
- Certification in risk management (e.g., CRM, FRM, or ARM) is a plus.
- Experience in the printing and publishing industry or related sectors is advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise risk management or a related role.
