Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Estimator – Piling & Shoring to join our growing team. We are seeking a candidate with strong estimation expertise in piling and shoring works, capable of preparing accurate tenders and cost-effective solutions for foundation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications & geotechnical reports
- Prepare quantity take-offs for piling and shoring systems
- Develop BOQs and cost estimates for materials, labour, plant & subcontractors
- Analyze project risks and pricing contingencies
- Obtain supplier/subcontractor quotations for competitive bids
- Prepare technical & commercial proposals
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement & operations teams
- Submit tenders within deadlines with accuracy and compliance
- Maintain cost databases, unit rates & market trends
- Support contract negotiations and project handover after award
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Estimator in Piling & Shoring industry
- Strong knowledge of bored piles, sheet piles, anchors, secant piles, diaphragm walls, etc.
- Good commercial awareness and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation tools preferred
- UAE experience will be an advantage
