Job Purpose
The Facility Manager – Hard Services is responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance and performance of all hard services (MEP, civil, HVAC, fire and life safety, and building infrastructure) on site. The role ensures assets are maintained to the highest safety and reliability standards, statutory compliance is upheld, and service delivery meets client SLAs and KPIs.
What You Will Be Doing
This position has the authority to:
- Approve emergency reactive works and mobilize specialist contractors within delegated financial limits
- Stop any unsafe work or equipment operation on site
- Approve technician/engineer work schedules, shift rosters and overtime
- Initiate purchase requisitions for spares, consumables and contracted works
- Sign off completed PPM and reactive maintenance work orders

- Strong technical/engineering judgment and problem-solving

- Vendor negotiation and contract management

- Attention to compliance, documentation and reporting accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 operational environment
Knowledge Required
- HVAC, electrical distribution, fire & life safety systems, BMS and generators
- CAFM/CMMS platforms
- Local Civil Defense and building code requirements
- HSE regulations and permit-to-work systems
What you will bring
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5–8+ years experience in hard services/MEP facilities management, ideally within IFM or corporate real estate environments
- Familiarity with CAFM/CMMS platforms
