BettingJobs is working with an African focused operator, they have a strong online and retail presence in Cameroon, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Democratic of Congo. They are looking for a Finance Manager to join their team based in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts across multiple operating markets
- Support revenue reconciliation between platforms, wallets, and payment providers
- Maintain accurate P&L and balance sheet schedules
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Prepare variance analysis and commentary for senior stakeholders
- Perform daily and monthly reconciliations across PSPs, mobile money providers, wallets, and bank accounts
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks promptly
- Help maintain and improve financial controls in a high-volume transactional environment
- Identify inefficiencies and risks across payment flows and reporting processes
- Work closely with Payments, Operations, Product, and Commercial teams
- Support ad-hoc commercial analysis (bonuses, promotions, margin performance, market profitability)
- Act as a finance point of contact for operational queries
Requirements:
- 24 years experience in a finance or accounting role
- Strong understanding of management accounting fundamentals
- Experience with high-volume transactions (iGaming experience, any exposure to African markets considered a plus)
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Comfortable working across multiple currencies and markets
