Overview
We are hiring a Finance Manager to lead accounting operations, ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations, and deliver accurate financial reporting. The role requires strong technical skills and hands-on experience managing endtoend finance functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements and management reports.
- Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Manage fixed asset accounting and lease income recognition.
- Handle UAE Corporate Tax and VAT filings.
- Lead external audits and regulatory submissions.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow.
- Use and optimize accounting systems (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, etc.).
Mandatory Requirements
- Accounting qualification or professional bookkeeping certification.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting/finance experience.
- Strong knowledge of fixed assets, lease accounting, UAE CT & VAT.
- Experience with preparing full financial statements and management reports.
- Proven experience with audits and compliance.
- Hands-on system experience (Xero/QuickBooks/Sage/NetSuite).
- Budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management experience.
Preferred
- Experience in aviation, aircraft leasing, maritime, or asset-heavy SPVs.
- Knowledge of IFRS (lease and asset accounting).
- Familiarity with financed/mortgaged assets and UAE Free Zone entities.
