Finance Manager / CFO

Location: Dubai, UAE

Salary: AED 15,000 – 18,000 per month

Finance leadership requires more than technical expertise. It demands commercial insight, strong governance, and industry knowledge that drives business growth.

We are conducting an executive search for a Finance Manager / CFO to lead the finance function of a well-established trading business in Dubai.

Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must have proven finance leadership experience within the Gold & Diamond industry or a Trading company. Applications without relevant industry experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the organization's finance and accounting function.

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, treasury, and financial planning.

• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, IFRS, statutory reporting, and audit requirements.

• Develop and strengthen internal controls, governance frameworks, and financial policies.

• Provide commercial insights, profitability analysis, and strategic financial recommendations to senior management.

• Monitor inventory valuation, cost controls, margins, and working capital.

• Manage banking relationships, trade finance, letters of credit (LCs), bank guarantees, and foreign currency transactions where applicable.

• Lead external audits and coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulatory authorities.

• Mentor and develop the finance team while driving operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.

• CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.

• 8–15 years of progressive finance leadership experience.

• Mandatory experience in the Gold & Diamond industry and/or Trading industry.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and internal controls.

• Experience managing audits, VAT, taxation, statutory compliance, and financial governance.

• Strong understanding of inventory accounting, trade finance, import/export transactions, and working capital management.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar).

• Excellent commercial acumen, leadership, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

• UAE experience is highly preferred.
