Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee Luna PR's global financial operations and lead a team of 2 accountants. This individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions, particularly in the US and UK, while also driving financial reporting, planning, and strategy. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic, global agency environment. Experience in Web3/crypto finance is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 2 accountants, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily operations.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and cash flow.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with US, UK, and UAE financial regulations, including tax, VAT, and audit requirements.
- Manage international tax reporting and cross-border financial structures.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
- Implement and refine internal controls and processes for efficiency and compliance.
- Provide mentorship and training to the accounting team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Must have direct experience with US and UK tax regulations.
- Strong understanding of UAE tax laws and compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Bonus: Experience handling finances for Web3, crypto, or fintech clients.
