Job Summary
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing financial planning, reporting, and control activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and actionable insights. The role plays a key part in supporting business performance while adhering to Egyptian regulations and FRA requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Analyze financial performance, focusing on portfolio profitability, cost of funds, and credit losses.
- Prepare financial statements in line with IFRS and Egyptian Accounting Standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting to the FRA.
- Monitor and manage compliance with Consumer Finance Law No. 18 of 2020 and related regulations.
- Oversee tax compliance including corporate tax, VAT, and withholding tax.
- Support treasury activities, including cash flow management and funding requirements.
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to governance standards.
- Coordinate with auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA/CPA/ACCA preferred).
- 710 years of relevant experience, preferably within consumer finance or financial services in Egypt.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS (especially IFRS 9 ECL) and Egyptian regulations.
- Experience in regulatory reporting and dealing with the FRA.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
