Finance Manager (UAE experience required)

Role overview
We're a fast-growing recruitment group seeking a hands-on Finance leader to own day-to-day finance and be a key partner to the CEO. You'll run the numbers, strengthen controls, improve cash discipline, and provide clear weekly visibility on performance. The role is finance-first with light operational crossover.
Key responsibilities
- Lead all core finance activities: bookkeeping oversight, monthly close, management reporting, budgeting/forecasting, and cashflow management.
- Strengthen working-capital discipline: billing, collections, and payment approvals.
- Ensure UAE compliance (Corporate Tax, VAT, audit) and manage external partners (banks, auditors, advisors).
- Maintain practical internal controls: Delegation of Authority, vendor onboarding, payment controls.
- Build simple, reliable reporting for leadership (weekly pulse + monthly pack).
- Guide and upskill the bookkeeper; shape team and systems as we scale.
- Partner with operations on pricing, margin checks, and process improvements.
What you'll bring
- 5+ years finance experience in the UAE (mandatory)
- Proven ownership of monthly close, cashflow forecasting, and collections.
- Strong automation, spreadsheet skills and experience with cloud accounting
- Comfortable in a high-growth and hands-on environment.
- Experience leading a small team and improving processes.
