About the Role

Job Title: Finance Manager

Job Location: Dubai

Department: Oil and Gas Development Company.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute commodity trading activities within the oil & gas / energy sector.
  • Structure and support project financing for oilfield services and energy infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinate with banks, financial institutions, export credit agencies, and investment funds to secure financing.
  • Develop and implement financing solutions, including project finance structures, letters of credit, and guarantees.
  • Monitor oil & gas market trends, price fluctuations, and geopolitical risks affecting financing and trading activities.
  • Formulate and implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial and market risks.
  • Support contract negotiations and ensure compliance with international trade and financing regulations.
  • Prepare financial models, reports, and analysis related to trading and project financing activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, International Trade, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • MBA or Master's degree in Finance is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commodity trading (oil & gas / energy), international trade finance, or project financing.
  • Proven experience in project financing within the oil & gas industry, particularly in oilfield services and energy infrastructure.
  • Experience working with banks, policy-based financial institutions, international investment funds, or export credit agencies (e.g., Export-Import Bank of China).
  • Strong familiarity with international financing practices, including project finance, letters of credit, and guarantees.
  • Background in oil, gas, chemicals, or bulk resource companies is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financing models and funding requirements for energy projects.
  • Ability to develop robust financing and risk management strategies in response to oil price volatility and geopolitical risks.
  • Solid analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Proficiency in Arabic or French is a plus.
