The Manager, Finance is responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, with a strong emphasis on financial reporting, for the Company.
Part B:Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversee the Company's day-to-day accounting and finance activities, with a focus on accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Lead the monthly closing of accounts for the Company and ensure the timely preparation and submission of comprehensive financial and management reports.
- Takes charge of the consolidation of the group financial statements for the group.
- Compute monthly corporate tax provisions and manage other tax matters in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in management reporting and presentation, providing in-depth financial analysis and explanations on the performance of the Company.
- Spearhead and coordinate the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts for the Company, ensuring alignment with financial reporting standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, policies, and internal controls related to financial reporting.
- Supervise the credit management function and monitor inventory levels to support accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee the financials and activities of subsidiaries, including those overseas.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, legal counsel, bankers, corporate secretaries, and relevant government authorities locally to ensure compliance and address financial reporting matters.
- Perform any other duties assigned from time to time, with a focus on enhancing financial reporting processes and outputs.
Part C:Qualifications & Requirements (Education, Experience, Skills, Knowledge, Etc)
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent from a reputable university
- Preferably with CA qualification
- More than 5 years of relevant and practical experience in a Sales Office.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently as well as collaborate with others
- Able to travel periodically
