Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fleet Supervisor located in Qesm El Obour. The Fleet Supervisor will oversee daily fleet operations, including vehicle scheduling, maintenance, and inspection to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. The role involves managing the team of drivers, ensuring efficient communication, monitoring fleet expenses, and implementing cost-control measures. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate records of fleet usage and service histories, troubleshooting operational issues, and liaising with senior management regarding fleet performance and improvements.

Job Description

• Relevant educational background (B.A)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet supervision, preferably manufacturing field.
• Good knowledge of road networks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Preferably residents of El Obour or nearby areas.

Job Requirements

• Supervise daily movement of distribution vehicles according to the approved delivery plan.
• Coordinate with Sales and Warehouse departments to ensure order readiness and on-time dispatch.
• Plan to load schedules and assign routes to drivers.
• Monitor drivers adherence to assigned routes and delivery timelines.
• Control and monitor fuel consumption to reduce waste.
• Ensure timely preventive and corrective maintenance of all vehicles.
• Handle breakdowns or accidents promptly and take necessary actions.
• Prepare the needed reports on delivery status, fleet movement, delivery performance, fuel usage, and maintenance status.
• Evaluate drivers performance in terms of discipline, attendance, and efficiency.
