Al-Watania Information Systems is seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Architect to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing high-performance cloud infrastructure solutions utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure that our clients systems are robust, scalable, and cost-effective while maximizing their cloud investments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, implement, and optimize cloud solutions leveraging GCP services
- Work alongside developers, analysts, and others to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Conduct assessments of the current cloud architecture and recommend improvements
- Implement security controls and compliance measures for cloud resources
- Monitor performance and manage the configuration of cloud environments
- Stay informed about the latest GCP updates, tools, and best practices
- Provide training and support to team members on cloud solutions and architectural decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in cloud architecture, specifically with GCP
- In-depth knowledge of GCP services, including networking, compute, storage, and security offerings
- Experience with cloud migration strategies and best practices
- Proficient with automation and scripting tools to manage cloud environments
- GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification is a plus
