Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable General Accountant with 23 years of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have solid accounting knowledge and hands-on experience working with Odoo ERP system. The role involves managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting month-end closing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions (AP, AR, GL entries).
- Prepare and review journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger records.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform bank reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures.
- Prepare financial reports and support management with financial analysis.
- Handle tax-related documentation and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Work on Odoo ERP system for accounting entries, reporting, and reconciliation.
- Coordinate with auditors and support external/internal audit requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 23 years of proven experience as a General Accountant.
- Strong experience using Odoo ERP system.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent command of English.
