We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Architect – Governance Specialist to establish and enforce a structured governance discipline across our enterprise architecture landscape. This role is ideal for candidates with strong expertise in SPARX Enterprise Architect (EA), ArchiMate, and enterprise governance frameworks skills that are highly valued in EA governance roles within the UAE market, especially for EA tool specialists and governance-focused architects.
Key Responsibilities:
Governance & Process Architecture
- Establish and maintain a structured governance discipline integrated with Enterprise Architecture.
- Develop, maintain, and govern the enterprise policy framework, including drafting, structuring, and lifecycle management.
- Map policies to processes and enforce governance traceability across business units.
- Define governance controls and ensure alignment across divisions and business units.
- Maintain Delegation of Authority (DOA) mapping within the architectural structure.
- Support governance reporting at the executive and board levels.
SPARX Enterprise Architect
Candidates must demonstrate real-world SPARX EA experience consistent with EA tool governance
- Minimum3years hands-on experience in SPARX EA or equivalent governance tools.
- Strong knowledge of ArchiMate meta-model and modeling standards.
- Build and govern:
- Business layer models
- Value streams
- Capability maps
- Process hierarchies
- Business objects / data entities
- Enforce correct meta‑model relationships (e.g., Value Stage → Process, Process → Business Object).
- Configure and manage EA repository structures and architecture governance workflows.
- Implement modeling standards, naming conventions, and prevent relationship violations.
Architecture Governance & Modeling
- Develop and enforce architectural governance frameworks.
- Establish modeling standards, review mechanisms, and quality controls.
- Ensure the integrity, consistency, and quality of architecture data in the repository.
- Conduct review sessions with business teams to align architecture with operational processes.
Systems & Integration Exposure
- Experience integrating EA with GRC, workflow systems, or dashboarding platforms.
- Exposure to SaaS EA environments and architecture analytics tools.
- Ability to generate executive dashboards and reporting structures from EA data capabilities aligned with market postings requiring dashboard support for decision-making
Required Experience & Qualification:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture / Governance / Process Architecture.
- Proven experience implementing SPARX EA in a corporate environment
- Experience working directly with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Background in real estate or large corporate groups is an added advantage.
- Any Bachelor's degree in Computer science/Information Technology/ Governance/BIS/Engineering.
- Professional Certification in TOGAF/Archiemate/COBIT/SPARX
