Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented Creative Director to lead & build the STARZPLAY marketing creative hub. The ideal candidate should have a passion for content (Arabic & English) and a strong understanding of the latest trends in digital content creation. As a Creative Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing creative strategies that align with our brand goals and objectives. You will work closely with our content, operations and marketing teams to ensure that all creative assets are on-brand, engaging, and consistent with our overall messaging.
The role requires a hands-on approach to team management, as you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of designers, editors, writers, and producers locally and remotely.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement creative strategies that align with the company's goals and growth objectives.
Manage the conceptualization & delivery of creative 360 campaigns across print, digital, OOH, social & more.
Work with agencies, content and marketing teams to ensure all creative assets are on-brand, engaging, and consistent with messaging.
Maintain and evolve the brand guidelines across all teams.
Manage and optimize workflows for delivering bulk creatives to operations teams and ensure a solid QC process.
Provide creative direction and leadership to the creative team. Translate business briefs into consumer-friendly concepts that translate into multiple touchpoints.
Oversee the production of all creative assets, including video, graphics, and other multimedia content.
Develop and manage the creative budget.
Find, collaborate & brief external agencies, freelancers, and vendors to execute creative projects as necessary.
Mentor and develop team members, resolving issues, providing regular feedback and coaching and ensuring a smooth operation with free-flowing knowledge sharing.
Ensure consistency across multiple creative suppliers.
Ensure partner / studio guidelines are respected throughout the creative process.
Ensure efficiency of resource allocation and management within the creative team
Requirements:
5 years of experience as a CD for media streaming or related industries.
Strong portfolio showcasing previous creative work.
Excellent leadership and management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of digital content creation and storytelling.
Strong understanding & experience in developing performance marketing / digital creatives.
Ability to work on growth-oriented creatives and touchpoints such as landing page designs.
Proven experience in developing and implementing successful creative strategies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Bachelor's degree in a related field such as design, media, or marketing
Experience working with broadcasters in the MENA region and/or subscription-based models will be preferred.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software.
Fluent in English and Arabic
