Job Description

1. Position Purpose:

The Design Manager will lead the design facing process with compliance to EVA Interiors creative direction, translating client briefs and brand vision into exceptional, functional, and visually stunning interiors.

This role ensures that every project reflects EVA's luxury DNA, maintaining the perfect balance between creativity, feasibility, and client satisfaction.

  • Seamless handover from concept to technical stage.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Creative Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end design process — from client brief, concept creation, mood boards, and space planning to final presentation.
  • Develop design narratives that embody EVA's luxury residential identity.
  • Review and approve 2D layouts, 3D renders, and material boards.
  • Guide and mentor designers and visualizers to maintain creative consistency.
  • Participate in client meetings and present design proposals confidently.

B. Design Coordination & Development

  • Coordinate with Technical Manager to ensure concepts are technically buildable.
  • Align with Planning, Procurement, and Project teams on deliverable timelines and material feasibility.
  • Ensure all design packages meet authority and sustainability standards.
  • Oversee material selection, FF&E choices, and vendor samples for consistency with EVA quality benchmarks.
  • Manage design revision logs and version control.

C. Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead client presentations and obtain approvals within agreed rounds.
  • Translate client feedback into refined design solutions without compromising aesthetics.
  • Support Relationship Managers in managing design-related communication and decision tracking.

D. Governance & Brand Standards

  • Uphold EVA Interiors design language, brand guidelines, and material standards.
  • Maintain design library and materials database for luxury finishes and FF&E.
  • Contribute to the development of EVA's standardized presentation templates and SOPs.

3. Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related discipline.
  • 8–12 years of experience in luxury residential or high-end interior projects.
  • Strong creative portfolio demonstrating concept and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in SketchUp, 3Ds Max, Photoshop, InDesign, and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication and client-presentation skills.
  • Experience in leading multidisciplinary design teams (2D, 3D, FF&E).
  • Familiarity with UAE authority standards and fit-out processes.
