About the Role
The Head of HNW Desk owns the P&L of Kama's High Net Worth client segment, responsible for acquiring, growing and retaining HNW clients and converting that book into scalable, highmargin revenue. The role builds a disciplined HNW franchise across GCC and key international markets, aligning deposits, trading volume and risk standards with the firm's growth plan.
Responsibilities
- Lead the HNW Desk and act as primary contact for toptier HNW clients, ensuring a hightouch, discreet and professional service at all times.
- Develop and execute a clear strategy to attract new HNW clients through direct sourcing, referrals, introducers and strategic partners.
- Identify and upgrade suitable existing clients into the HNW segment, tailoring service and solutions to their needs and risk profile.
- Work closely with dealing, risk and operations teams to ensure a smooth onboarding journey and robust ongoing support for HNW clients.
- Design and maintain a tiered HNW service model, including contact cadence, portfolio reviews, reporting and event strategy.
- Coach and manage HNW Relationship Managers, setting clear standards for client coverage, communication and followthrough.
- Use data and reporting tools to understand client behavior, identify opportunities and continuously improve the desk's effectiveness.
- Ensure all activities are fully aligned with regulatory requirements, internal policies and best practices in suitability and client protection.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in HNW wealth management, FX/CFD, private banking or similar hightouch trading/investment roles, with a demonstrable track record of building profitable HNW books.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills, able to structure and close complex HNW relationships while protecting margins and risk limits.
- Deep understanding of leveraged trading products (FX, CFDs, metals) and associated risk, credit and regulatory considerations.
- Datadriven operator: comfortable managing through dashboards, P&L reports and clientlevel analytics.
- Leadership experience building and managing small, highperformance sales/relationship teams.
