The Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
- Develop and execute the HR strategy aligned to business objectives and growth plans
- Advise senior leadership on organisational capability, workforce planning, and succession
- Design and implement people policies, frameworks, and governance structures
- Lead change management initiatives to support business transformation and expansion
- Champion company values, culture and employee experience
Talent, Capability & Leadership Development
- Build leadership capability across the organisation
- Drive succession planning and development of high-potential employees
- Implement structured learning and development programs
- Support localisation / nationalisation objectives where applicable
HR Operations & Governance
- Ensure effective HR systems, processes, and service delivery
- Oversee performance management, compensation & benefits frameworks
- Ensure compliance with UAE labour law and relevant international standards
- Lead HR data analytics and workforce reporting
- Maintain strong employee relations frameworks and dispute resolution processes
Organisational Culture & Engagement
- Foster a culture of safety, respect, integrity, and accountability
- Lead engagement programs to strengthen retention and morale
- Promote diversity and inclusion
- Support wellbeing and workforce resilience initiatives
The Requirements
- Minimum 15 years progressive HR experience, including senior leadership roles
- Proven experience in mining sector
- Demonstrated experience supporting multi-site or international operations
- Bachelor's degree required; postgraduate qualification preferred
