Head of Sales | Financial Services | Full-Time | Hybrid | Cairo, Egypt

We are a trusted recruitment partner working with reputable organizations in the financial services sector. On behalf of a confidential client, we are seeking an experienced Head of Sales to lead and scale sales operations in Cairo.

This is a full-time hybrid role, combining on-site presence in Cairo with flexible remote work.

About the Role

The Head of Sales will be responsible for defining and executing the overall sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and building high-performing sales teams. This role requires strong leadership, deep understanding of financial services products, and the ability to align sales execution with broader business objectives.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in sales leadership within financial services and can operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives
  • Lead, manage, and mentor sales teams to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Own sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Identify new market opportunities and drive business development initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, operations, and compliance teams
  • Establish and monitor sales KPIs, incentives, and performance metrics
  • Ensure sales activities comply with regulatory and internal governance requirements
  • Represent the sales function in leadership and strategic planning discussions

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
  • Minimum 812 years of experience in sales, with at least 45 years in a senior sales leadership role
  • Proven experience within financial services (banking, fintech, insurance, lending, or investment products)
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
  • Strong understanding of the Egyptian market and customer landscape
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is required
