The Head of Strategic Partnerships – Global Alliances & JVs will spearhead the design, implementation, and management of strategic alliances and joint ventures that propel organizational growth and innovation on a global scale. This executive role demands a strategic vision, exceptional leadership qualities, and proven experience in building and nurturing high-impact partnerships across diverse markets. The incumbent will be responsible for identifying key partnership opportunities, negotiating favorable terms, and aligning partnerships with the overall organizational strategy. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Development, Finance, and Operations, is essential to ensure synergy and maximize the potential of alliances. This role will also necessitate the ability to assess the performance and outcomes of alliances, driving accountability and continuous improvement through data-driven analyses and feedback mechanisms. As a thought leader, the Head of Strategic Partnerships will represent the organization at high-level meetings, industry conferences, and strategic discussions, advocating for innovative approaches and creating compelling narratives to enhance the organization's global reach and competitive positioning.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in strategic partnerships, corporate development, or business development with a strong focus on global alliances and joint ventures.
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing complex partnership agreements and joint venture structures that have led to quantifiable revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Extensive experience in stakeholder management, including rapport-building with C-suite executives, external partners, and internal teams in a matrixed organizational structure.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in conducting market assessments and competitive analyses to identify and prioritize partnership opportunities.
  • Deep understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques to evaluate joint ventures performance and alignment with overall business strategy.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated capability in leading cross-functional teams with a collaborative approach to drive successful partnership outcomes and initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience in navigating cultural differences and fostering operational alignment in international partnership settings.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of the organization's global partnerships and joint ventures, ensuring alignment with corporate vision and objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate partnership opportunities that complement and enhance the organization's offerings and market presence.
  • Develop and implement performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of partnerships and drive actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key external partners, stakeholders, and industry leaders to create collaboration opportunities and maintain alignment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth integration of partnership initiatives into existing operations, marketing efforts, and product development pipelines.
  • Facilitate regular partnership reviews and strategic alignment sessions, engaging stakeholders to discuss challenges, successes, and future directions.
  • Oversee the development of partnership-related communication strategies, presentations, and materials to articulate value propositions and engage stakeholders.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, forums, and networking events, acting as a thought leader and advocate for partnership-driven growth.
